Estonian Dzogchen Community Thadralling are happy to invite you to participate an open weekend course with two second level Yantra Yoga instructors – Oni McKinistry and Maaja Zelmin.

Open  Yantra Yoga retreat 23 – 24 May 2015

with Oni McKinstry and Maaja Zelmin 

On this course we will focus to the all five yantra series according to the circumstanses. Our aim is to discover how the body movement supports the breathing movement. Through those ancient positions and movements, one’s energy can be coordinated and harmonized what allows the mind relax and find its authentic balance, which is the basis for profound contemplation.

 

  This course is aimed to the people who have some previous experience of Yantra Yoga.

Oni McKinstry- E-RYT500 Yoga Alliance registered.

Oni has practiced Yoga for 28 years and been teaching since 1993. Oni’s teaching style

is influenced by years of practice and study in the Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa

Krama Yoga traditions of Krishnamacharya. Oni is also authorized to teach Tibetan

Yantra Yoga, an authentic lineage transmitted from the Dzogchen Master, Chogyal

Namkhai Norbu, which emphasizes controlled breathing in movements.

Oni has lived and taught in New Zealand, Australia, England, Carribean and the USA.

Oni specializes in adapting Yoga to benefit the individual condition. She is confident that

maintaining a daily practice of controlled, smooth and slow Breathing alongside an

appropriate Yoga routine is essential for a stress-free body and a calm, relaxed mind.

Maaja Zelmin is a disciple of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rimpoche since 1992.

In 2005 she gave her 1st level Yantra Yoga exam and in 2010 Rimpoche authorized her as a 2nd level Yantra Yoga instructor.

Maaja is also an authorized Classical Yoga instructor. She received her diploma at Kṛiṣṇamacarya’s School of Yoga; in this school  the exercises are teached and given to the student according to his or her individuality.
Since 2005 Maaja has participated in Fabio Andrico’s courses on Harmonious Breathing. In 2013 Fabio authorized her to teach Breathing openly.

 She has been teaching yoga for over 20 years.
