The View and The Meditation of Dzogchen-Atiyoga
Among the three aspects of the spiritual path, namely view, meditation, and behaviour, view corresponds to how we understand our existence, meditation is about how we are taming and purifying our minds, while behaviur relates to how we deal with our everyday life and circumstances. It is said that the view is beyond partiality, meditation beyond dualistic fixation, and behaviour beyond hope and fear.
Studying the sublime view of Ati Dzogpa Chenpo helps practitioners to recognize their limitations and mistakes concerning deep knowledge of primordial state while special methods of meditation help to get direct non-conceptual experience of one’s real condition.
The teaching is based on the Precious Vase by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
Igor Berkhin is practicing Dzogchen since 1996. Since 2002, he is authorized by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu as an instructor for the International Dzogchen Community. He is also a Russian translator for the teachings of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
