Primordial Knowledge

Primordial means timeless, eternal, atemporal, primal, original, from the beginning, ever-existing, already and forever, beyond cause and effect.

Knowledge refers to oral, symbolic and direct modes of transmission, through which the primordial source manifests its wisdom-energies inside time corresponding to the specific circumstances of each sentient being.  Everything is knowledge, without any limitations.

The essence of primordial knowledge is pure perfect presence – unceasing empty luminous wisdom-energy manifestations.  ‘Enlightenment’ is just a word without any meaning.  Enlightenment does not really exist.  It is total fantasy to search for enlightenment.  Pure perfect presence already pervades everything as self-perfected primordial enlightenment.

We will study & practice the essence of sutra, tantra, and dzogchen. We will learn some of the following theoretical topics so that we can correctly apply various guruyoga practices, such as kumbhaka, anuyoga, semdzins, and rushens.

Possible theoretical topics:

Three Aspects of Dzogchen Transmission

Four Aspects for Understanding Primordial Knowledge

Five Marvelous Aspects of Primordial Knowledge

Five Principles of Primordial Knowledge

Five Necessary Capacities for Primordial Knowledge

Six Unlimited Aspects of Primordial Knowledge

Ten Ways to Obstruct Primordial Knowledge
