The practice of Chöd is very widespread in Tibet, not only in the Dzogchen teachings but in all schools of Buddhism, as well as in the Bönpo tradition. Its origins can be traced principally to the female master Machig Labdrön, a manifestation of Vajrayogini. The Chöd practice came into being as the essence of all the teachings she had received but, above all, it derived directly from her own experience and knowledge. I introduce about the teaching of Chod.

December 8th10:00 -12:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 12:00 – 14:00)

I transmit a short Ganapuja of Chod teaching .

12:30 -13:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 14:30 – 15:00)

We do a short Ganapuja of Chod for the day of Dhakini.

December 9th10:00 -12:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 12:00 – 14:00)

I give the transmission of the Majig Labdron’s root Text of the Chod teaching.

December 10th10:00 -12:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 12:00 – 14:00)

Giving instruction of the Chod Practice of “Khadroi Gadgyang”.

December 11th10:00 -12:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 12:00 – 14:00)

I teach the way of practice of “Khadroi Gadgyang” and then we do this practice altogether.

December 12th10:00 -12:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 12:00 – 14:00)

I give instruction for doing Chod practice more essential way.

December 13th10:00 -12:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 12:00 – 14:00)

Giving some advices for the daily life practices and tridlungs of collective practices.

12:30 -13:00 (ώρα Ελλάδος 14:30 – 15:00)

We do a short Ganapuja of Chod for the day of New Moon and end of this retreat.

In general, the activities will be conducted in morning and afternoon. The teachings of Namkhai Norbu will be concentrated mainly in the morning, with some sessions in the afternoon for extra explanations or for collective practices.
