Yantra Yoga Course in Paris – Kumbhaka

specially focused on Kumbhaka

Date :  from march the 30th to april 1st, 2013

with: Zhenya Rud, Yantra Yoga 2nd level teacher

Yantra Yoga or the Yoga of Movement is an ancient system of Tibetan yoga based on the text The Union of the Sun and the Moon, written in the 8th century by the master and translator Vairochana. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu wrote a detailed commentary on the root text and started to transmit this teaching in the West at the beginning of the seventies.

Yantra Yoga is a fundamental method to integrate the profound essence of the Dzogchen Teaching into the three gates of body, voice and mind. Through movements and positions combined with breathing the energy of the practitioner is coordinated and harmonized so that the mind can relax and discover authentic balance, the basis for entering the state of contemplation.

This course on Kumbhaka is only open to members who have received the transmission!

Subject of the course:

is to learn, increase and apply Kumbhaka

The course content will be the complete and harmonious breathing, the rhythmic breathing (Pranayama of the 2nd serie of Yantra Yoga), and the application of the Kumbhaka in the 7th Lojong (practice from the base of Santi Maha Sangha).

We invite as well all those Practitioners for whom the practice of Yantra Yoga is difficult, but who would like to learn and to apply Kumbhaka. Zhenya would like to take in consideration the physical condition of each participant, in order to give a real and sure experience of this breathing technique, which is so central for many practices of the Dzogchen Community.

In order to attain this course one should have received the transmission of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu or Kyentse Yeshe. One should be up to date with the membership; There will be the possibility to renew the membership on the place.
