Part II Intense Practise Retreat:

To attend either only the course or only the retreat is possible.
About the Practise:
The practice of Green Tara is one of the main secondary practices that are transmitted by Chogyal Namkhai Norbu. Secondary practices remove obstacles on the path and create favorable conditions for a meaningful life. The practice of Green Tara, the principal form of the various manifestations of Tara, is one of the most important and most universal of such practices.
Tara is regarded as the embodiment of the enlightened accomplishments and healing activities of all Buddhas. Therefore she is called “The Quick Acting One” or “The Quick Helping One”. Her actions have the boundless and unconditional compassion of a mother. She is called the mother of all enlightened beings, because she embodies the ultimate wisdom of the true state of the individual. So who is on the path to enlightenment for the benefit of all beings achieve the qualifications of primordial wisdom and enlightened activities – the so-called siddhis – the fastest and easiest through the practice of Tara.
Even Buddha Shakyamuni, the Blessed One, worshipped Tara in his 21 praises. The recitation or singing of these praises is one of the most important methods to develop the wisdom of Tara. Furthermore 21 action mantras are connected with these verses.
In this retreat we will learn the meaning of this text, the song and how to combine these praises with the usual practice of Green Tara. And especially we will learn how to perform the practice of Tara as a practice of our true state – Dzogchen.
To make the mantra of Green Tara work properly Chogyal Namkhai Norbu recommends an intense personal retreat of at least one week. This personal retreat can also be carried out in a group. Thus one adds his capacity to that of the other participants and thereby potentiates it.
Conditions: All participants should have the transmission of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
